What is the name of the magazine? What are the connotations of the name?
My masthead is going to be called Eureka, the connotation links to what school students need and have. the connotation for the masthead are, making discoveries and create new plans and ideas. Also finding out a solution to solve many problems.
What will be your front cover story and how will you visualise it?
The cover story will be about what every student does when they are in education is about studying.
this will be conveyed through the headline and the picture.
Who is the target audience?
My target audience for this magazines is or both female and male students to read from aged 16-18
It's targeted towards them because students around that age want to do well in there exams and have and interest in further education, for example like university.
What would be your headline and how will it match with the main image?
The headline is 'In one ear, out the other.' it shows you, when trying to study and learn, the information doesn't stay in your head making you having to learn it again and again until it does. Which causes students to stress over it, this expression will be shown in the main image and through the action of the models in the main image.
What mise en scene will be required for the photography?
-A midshot of the models.
-The models will be looking directly at the camera, there hands will be placed against there ears.
-Their facial expression is of them angry and yelling.
-The female model will be wearing a shirt and land-yard and the male model will be wearing a shirt, tie, and a land-yard.
-In front of the models will be textbooks, from all sorts of subjects and courses.
-Equal lighting in the background and on the models.
What colour scheme do you want?
The colour scheme for my cover is going to be Red, Black and White, the colours contrast with each other. The colours are strong, bold colours that can stand out in certain ways.
